Mini Vacation
In November Jason and I took a little vacation at the place in Ucluelet where we went on our honeymoon. November is the wetest month there and people often go there to storm watch in the winter. We didn't see storms (though we drove through a rainstorm on the way there and marrowly missed the huge windstorm on the way back). We did get to see some big waves. It is hard to get pictures of waves and a picture can't capture the awesomeness of them but here are our attemps:

BIG NEWS
So here's the promised BIG NEWS. We are having a baby!! (no Dan we aren't selling our house, not unless there's a lot more than one bun in the oven). We tried to keep it a secret as long as possible but I was starting to have a hard time hiding it. So far this pregnancy has gone as usual -- I'm sick and tired, and sick and tired of being sick and tired, not to mention trips to the bathroom and kitchen late at night. The ultrasound showed only one baby. I was starting to wonder because of how sick and hungry I have been. Maybe my memory just isn't so clear since God has a way of helping us forget some of the less pleasant parts of bringing these beautiful babies into the world. By the way, the due date is June 20th so the kids will be 22 months apart. We had been planning to have them 21 months apart but God had other plans and we had a miscarriage in September. Yes, that isn't that long ago! The doctor said he hadn't seen anyone else get pregnant so fast after a miscarriage so this was a real answer to prayer for me (I am not so good with waiting sometimes!) Thanks to all of you who prayed!

Pumpkin Patch
This past Saturday Hannah went with Grandma and Grandpa G to the pumpkin patch. Since I wasn't there I can't write too much about it but here are some pictures. It sure does look like fun. (Yes, I am a bit jealous of all the fun! Jason and I will have to take her ourselves in the next few weeks.) Hannah's favourite things to do are playing outside, playing in playhouses and playing in those little cars, so you can imagine that this place must have been heaven for her.

Renovations Have Begun!!
Last weekend we started some renovations on our kitchen/family room that we have been planning for quite awhile. I took a few before pictures. The after pictures will come in a feww weeks when (hopefully) we will be all done. My manly husband smashed out all the bricks with a little sledge hammer.
After the fireplace was taken out there was a hole in the wall to the outside. We had a little fun with it before Jason covered it up.

Hannah even helped out with some of the measuring. She was showing us where she thought we should cut the wall and was trying to mark her own measurements on the wall. After a while we realized that letting her think drawing on the walls is okay may not be the wisest thing. (Yeah, we are first time parents!)

"Daddy, do you think I'm gaining weight?"More pictures to come...

Started the sit-ups!
So I did 120 sit-ups today, but just in case anyone thinks that is a good amount -- my husband did 200!!! Go Jay!
