It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Shameless Bragging!

Yesterday in the bathtub, Hannah and I were counting. She counted to ten and then I was trying to teach her to do 11 to 20 when all of a sudden she started counting in Spanish. She can count to five in Spanish! I was so surprised and proud, I had to tell everyone. So that's my shameless bragging. (Thanks Dora.)

Just so that Kiera doesn't feel left out... she is doing well too. She can roll onto her stomach but hasn't figured out how to get back onto her back yet. She is working hard at sitting up and will probably have it completely conquered in the next couple of weeks.

If the walls had ears...

A few things heard around our house lately:

• At one of our daily tea parties, Hannah set out a cup for "Jason". After yet another attempt at explaining why she should not call him Jason, Mommy asked "Do you know what Mommy's name is?" Hannah replied "You are 25!" She's so smart;)
  
• Hannah: "I'm a girl. Kiera's a girl. Daddy's a boy."
  Mom: "Is Mommy a girl?"
  Hannah: "No, you're a Mommy!"
  
• Hannah: "Are we best friends, Kiera? ... I love you Kiera."
  
• Heard daily: "Doo doo doo - I'm a princess! Doo doo doo - I'm a princess!"
  
• Our favourite saying around here: "Oh my gumous!"
