Six weeks... That's how old little Kiera is already, that's how long we've been working on selling our house, that's how long it's been since I slept through the night (actually a lot longer than that since I didn't sleep much the last few months of pregnancy), and it's almost how long it has taken me to find time to do more posts on my blog! So here is a little update. The deal we had going on our house fell through so we are starting again with showings and trying to keep the house clean. Ugh! We put an offer on a townhouse but that fell through today because our house didn't sell. We feel fine about this though. We figure it was God's way of telling us to wait for another, better place.
We have had some good times enjoying the summer. First was the Canada Day parade, then the sprinkle.. more about that below... and then birthdays galore. We celebrated Mom W's, Matthew's and Hannah's, then we celebrated Dad G's and next we will have another little party for Hannah. As well we had a get together with my side of the family because my cousin and her three kids came up from Georgia for the first time in three years. It was so great to see her again, even though the visit was short. The kids got to know one another quickly and had a blast, especially Hannah and Madison, who is seven and Hannah's newest hero. We forgot our camera so we will have to get pictures from someone else of that event. Here are pictures of some of the other events this summer, starting with the parade and some random summer fun.
