She's here! She arrived very obediently right on her due date, with only fifteen minutes to spare (June 20th, 11:44pm.) I can't complain about the delivery. I was having contractions throughout the day but the actual labour only took an hour and a half. Fortunately my doctor was already at the hospital. I have described it as a surreal experience because it felt like it was over before it had even begun. It was a vastly different experience from my first labour. She is a beautiful little girl. She weighed 8lbs 9oz at birth and is about 9lbs now so she is eating well and growing fast. Hannah is very excited about her little sister but she is still processing the changes I think. Sorry to those of you that missed us at the hospital. We were not there for very long, only about 18 hours or so (the entire length of my labour with Hannah as a matter of fact.) The hospital had a record number of women on the waiting list to get in and we were getting no sleep there so we came home early.
We have been extra busy lately, aside from new baby stuff. Hannah got sick the day we brought her home from grandma's. She had a high fever and wouldn't eat or drink. We thought we might end up right back at the hospital but she made a fast recovery. We also made the decision to sell our house just before Kiera was born so now we are preparing for an open house on Saturday. Our renters gave us notice a couple of weeks ago so we figured we could spend the money to do some work downstairs and look for new renters, or we could take this opportunity to move into a townhouse which we have been thinking of doing for a while now. So all of a sudden we are anticipating another big life change. Yikes!

she is so beautiful! congrats again! i'm thinking maybe i should find a way to make some serious cash on baby pools since i seem to be doing pretty well with them:)
i hope all the moving/packing/buying/selling goes smoothly for you guys. takes me back to when brook was born and we signed the papers just before midnight the night before, then came home from the hospital and started packing:) can't wait to meet kiera soon!

kiera is very beautiful -- good job guys! and i am so glad you had a better labour experience this time. also glad that hannah recovered quickly from being sick -- not great timing otherwise!

Oh I'm so glad to see pictures of the little one! Beautiful and A MOVE!!! WOW first the Warkentins and now you guys?? haha Oh well, I wonder if you'll be their neighbors though, wouldn't that be something?
